Once again we humans seem to have labeled a member of the insect world in an erroneous fashion. In this case I am talking about army ants. You have probably seen some video on at least one occasion in which a nest of army ants is shown devouring every kind of life in its path. Well, it is time to put aside these stereotypes of army ants as new research views army ants in an entirely different light.
