article is because of the question which is posed in the last line of the article:
"While saving the endangered species by making this ark is a great idea, is it really that great if those animals will be exclusive to captivity?"
Why should animals be forced to live in captivity simply because we humans have totally overrun the natural habitats of these animals? What does it say about our species if animals can only expect to live in zoos as a means of ensuring their survival on this planet? It says we are selfish, that we are irresponsible for overpopulating this planet and that we could care less about the fact that many of these animal species were here before we were on this planet and have established ways of living (including migration) that humans are destroying forever!
All animals (like these zebras below deserve to live in their natural habitats (such as Kruger National Park in South Africa):
