Fish deliberately bred to get skin cancer to benefit humans!

According to a news article entitled, "Texas researchers fish for answers to genetic questions",

which you can read by clicking on the following link:

http://www.kens5.com/home/Texas-State-researchers-fish-for-answers-to-human-genetic-questions-113628304.html

"Scientists at   Texas State University (San Marcos) are deliberately breeding fish which are being born to get skin cancer! Then, the fish with the predisposition for cancer are exposed to UV light to see if and how quickly they’ll develop melanoma!!

What gives these scientists the right to deliberately cause these fish to be bred to get skin cancer and also what gives these scientists the right to expose these fish to excessive levels of UV light? If these scientists want to see
how quickly humans get skin cancer from being exposed to uv light, let them expose themselves to this light, and let their offspring get this susceptibility to cancer to see what the possible effects of skin cancer are on humans!  I suggest you send an email to the scientist in charge of this awful research, Dr. Ron Walter at

rw12@txstate.edu and tell him that what he is doing with these fish is immoral and selfish!

In another immoral research study it was discovered that fish can feel pain  and have feelings. Why should
some scientists be allowed to inflict such an awful disease as skin cancer on fish for the benefit of the human species?
