Russia bans Polar bear hunt for this year!

Russia has banned the hunting of polar bears this year! Polar Bears have been classified as "endangered"
because of our species  excessive hunting  of them for their hide and meat. "Scientists  "predict that as the Arctic continues to warm due to climate change, two-thirds of the world's polar bears could disappear by mid-century—although hope remains if action is taken to greatly reduce greenhouse gas emissions"  (source:http://www.polarbearsinternational.org/polar-bears/faq  ). Polar bears were the first species of animal to become endangered because of Global Warming. Polar Bears are found in these areas of our planet: Canada (Manitoba; Newfoundland; Northwest Territories; Nunavut; Ontario; Quebec; Yukon), Greenland, Norway (Svalbard), Russian Federation (Krasnoyarsk; Magadan; North European Russia; West Siberia; Yakutiya), United States (Alaska).
