Planet 'far away' on climate goals: study

To read an article entitled, "Planet 'far away' on climate goals: study" please click on the highlighted words in this sentence. This will take you to a page at the science website Phys.org.This article to me indicates that the politicians of this planet could care less about the people, animal and plant species and our Mother Earth!!  We have known for a long time that climate change is occurring on this planet, and yet who is listening to Mother Earth and her cries? The politicians of this World think they know so much, yet this new research proves exactly the opposite and that they are  heading all life on this planet down a disastrous course!

As mentioned in the article:
"The planet is "very, very far away" from meeting the 2.0-degree goal, said co-author Bill Hare, a lead writer of the major 2007 UN scientific report on climate change and director at Potsdam-based research group Climate Analytics."
"We are heading towards a warming of well over 3.0 degrees at present unless there are major improvements in the pledges," Hare, who has advised , told a news conference.
"Hare said that while even 2.0-degree warming is problematic, the higher rate puts the world at risk to major problems such as more frequent and -- a top concern for low-lying nations.

Why are the politicians of this World willing to risk causing problems to the Planet, problems which may not be correctable at a certain point in time??? I urge all of you who read this message, to contact your Federal and local politicians and demand that they answer for their lack of willingness to commit the necessary human and financial resources to achieve the climate goals, which at best may reduce the chance that major damage to our planet will likely occur in the present and future!!

Listen to what experts say about the Politicians of Canada!!:
