Women's World Chess Championship Hou Yifan wins game 3 !!




The third game of the FIDE Women's World Chess Championship was played yesterday. Chinese GM Hou Yifan (pictured above) won the game when her opponent, Humpy Koneru resigned  after move 37. Yifan has the black pieces in the game. The opening played in the game was the Queen's Gambit Declined:Ragozin variation. This means that the score in the match is now 2-1 for Hou Yifan with game 4 being played today.
