FIDE Women's World Chess Championship:Round 2, Playoff results,round 3 pairings

Here are the results of the matches in which playoffs had to be used to decide the match  winner from round 2:

World Champion Alexandra Kosteniuk won both of her rapid playoff games against Sopiko Khukhashvili to take the match by a 3-1 score.

Almira Skripchenko defeated Nana Skripchenko in both of their playoff games to take the match by a score of 3-1.

Qian Huang defeated Antoaneta Stefanova in both playoff games to take the match by a score of 3-1

Kateryna Lahno defeated Thannh Trang Hoang in both playoff games to take the match by a score of 3-1.

Viktorija Cmilyte defeated Elisabeth Paehtz in the second game of their playoff to take the match by a score of 2.5-1.5

Zhu Chen won both games in her playoff against Monika Socko to take the match by a score of 3-1

Ruan Lufei defeated Zhang Xiawen in both playoff games to take the match by a score of 3-1.
